Press Release
- Extension of the strategic process automation product portfolio
- Improved use of all data center resources
Berlin, 25 January 2010 – Beta Systems Software AG assumes global ownership of the sales rights for APM-Software GmbH’s scheduling product ‘APX/PCC’. This scheduling system allows companies to centrally manage business processes across platforms with great efficiency. As a result, all required jobs are executed on the right computer with the right parameters.
The Production Control Center APX/PCC is a powerful tool for planning and controlling company-wide production workflows in data centers (DC) across platform boundaries. The resulting improved utilization of all resources leads to increased data center productivity and significantly boosts the service level of the DC operation. The scheduling system can be flexibly integrated into any IT infrastructure and offers unlimited scalability. APX/PCC is certified for all SAP R/3 releases from version 4.5.
Due to the scalability and reliability it brings, APX/PCC caters to the need of any company running DC operations. Also, the built-in multi-client capability enables companies such as IT service centers to serve different customers using a single system.
“The technology built into APX/PCC is backed by over 25 years of experience and offers real added value to companies of any industry. The system’s central functions can be controlled from any platform, and there are no restrictions whatsoever regarding the database system used for data storage and management,” comments Harald Podzuweit, General Manager Business Lines DCI and IdM at Beta Systems Software AG.
“Data centers of the future will need to be more efficient and react to changing business requirements with even greater speed. This is where APX/PPC truly comes into its own thanks to its high level of flexibility. By leveraging the strong sales capabilities of Beta Systems, we will be better able to address this market,” adds Horst-Otto Diers, CEO of APM-Software GmbH.
